Unit 4

In this topic, I learned about the argument or case that being stated in the text. This means like the main idea of the whole story in the text. I also learned about the evidence that provided to support the argument. When we are writing a fact, we must include the evidence to support the main idea. If not, it is like we are writing a narrative essay. We also learned about the evidence that can support the argument. The evidence we included must be accurate and can support the argument. It is because we must put the evidence relate to the argument, if not the argument is not accurate enough. In the reading, it defined the meaning of evidence. It also gives the types of evidences such as circumstantial evidence and testimonial evidence. In another reading, it stated the evidence through the statistic. This means that the article is true based on the statistic provided. The interesting part in this unit is we learned that every good article must include the evidence. It is a new knowledge for us. The difficult part in this unit is when we want to find the evidence for the article. The evidence must be very accurate. Furthermore, the evidence must also support the arguments. Sometimes we cannot find the evidence that can support the arguments and the evidence are not acknowledged. Reflection to the presentation is good. The presenter for this presentation are Along, Wanie and Ella. Three of them present the topic clearly and easy to understand. They are well prepared and get the main idea of the topic. Their presentation also runs smoothly. The lecturer did not talk much to their group as their presentation and the message is well delivered. The audience also understand with their presentation and did not asked much question.
